| Words cannot express my sincerest gratitude for all the wonderful support for our First Annual Golf Outing. From the kindness of all the sponsors, Stonebridge Country Club and the players, to those that volunteered their time and particularly to those who simply didn't want to be recognized but only wanted to be part of helping. Thank you. Also a particular thank you to those that gave so much of their time. Marc Forest for all the wonderful website information, the brochures, posters, video and photographs. Michael Healey for his enthusiasm and energy, Cheri Buchanan for organizing the volunteers and helping with the wonderful car sponsorship, Paula Raymond for getting us all on the right track and showing us how to put together a first class outing, Kevin McKay for just always being there to help me no matter what, and particularly to Drake Pelham for his untiring efforts with regard to the large sponsors and the magnificent raffle prizes. We were blessed. My children and I cannot begin to tell you how the financial help is appreciated but mostly the emotional support, friendship and love. We will never forget that part of this difficult journey. To my dear dear husband Scott, I know you are watching and are truly grateful to all the wonderful people who got involved and supported your children and me. It is amazing, we all love and miss you. We raised $20,000! A tremendous accomplishment for our first outing. Also in the short time that we took to put it all together, we were again blessed. And of course I guess I cannot stop without thanking "mother nature". A truly perfect day! Our goal next year (Friday Sept. 21) will be to raise $30,000. This money will be used to help other families who are suffering similar circumstances. To that end, I already took the liberty of helping a family in Londonderry. Steve and Nicole Anderson. Steve is only 34, 3 kids and suffering from a very aggressive leukemia. They have a long fight ahead. If you would like to help them as well, the donations can go to St. Mary's Bank 50 Nashua Rd in Londonderry. We need to pray for them. We are all blessed with our health, our families and our friends. I consider myself to be blessed further with "special friends and family". Those that are willing to give of themselves no matter what. I look forward to seeing you all during the year, but particularly next year at the outing.
